I graduated from the Utrecht Conservatory and earned a master's degree in jazz piano from New York University (NYU). As a professional pianist, I have performed on international stages with bands, singer-songwriters, and as a solo artist.

After graduating from the Utrecht Conservatory and earning my master's degree at NYU, I spent a decade performing and recording in New York City. I have been teaching piano online and in-person for nearly 20 years. Having performed genres ranging from jazz, pop, and rock to funk and afrobeat, I bring a versatile, practical approach to music education.
My teaching philosophy is simple: learning piano should be engaging and rewarding. It's not about daunting drills, but about enjoying the process of playing music on your keyboard or piano from day one.
